The Privacy Policy says what we collect. This page shows exactly what that means, because "we care about your privacy" is cheap and specifics are not.

Why we collect anything at all

A baby's shake is rougher, slower, and less regular than an adult's, and every phone's sensors differ. The app records what its motion and touch detectors felt, so that we can tune - offline, by hand - what should count as "a shake" or "a slap" for real children on real devices. It also records when an animation starts, ends, or is paused, so that we can understand whether the app earns your child's time. Those two questions are the whole purpose. There is no advertising, no profiling, and no data is sold or shared.

Raw measurements, not profiles

The app computes nothing about you or your child. It records raw sensor and touch measurements, the moments an animation starts and stops, and what its detectors decided, and our server stores them unchanged. Timestamps, acceleration values, touch positions - numbers. Nothing in any record names a person, a place, or a device identity.

Anonymous by construction, not by promise

• The install identifier is generated randomly on first launch. It is not derived from your device, so it cannot be traced back to it.
• Our server is in Canada. Like any server on the internet, it keeps security logs - the IP address and time of each request - to protect itself, and for nothing else. The address goes no further: it is stripped before requests reach our software.
• There are no accounts, no third-party SDKs, and this website sets no cookies - so there is nothing to cross-reference.

Deletion

Anonymity cuts both ways: because nothing links a usage record to a person or a device, we cannot tell which records came from your installation. They hold no personal data we could hand over, correct, or delete.
